Cliff Kolovson
Cliff Kolovson has more than 35 years of service in communications. Since early 1991, Cliff has operated Pointed Communications to serve dozens of small- and medium-sized companies with a wide variety of communications projects.
His first career was in community journalism, having graduated with a BS in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For more than 10 years he served as a newspaper reporter, editor, photographer, and assistant publisher. His second career was in corporate communications for high-tech divisions of Eastman Kodak Co. located in the Boston area. For 10 years he served in several capacities at Atex, a maker of typesetting systems for newspapers and magazines.
At Atex, Cliff started writing user documentation for newspaper editorial, advertising and document processing systems. He developed Atex's first public relations department and helped grow the marketing communications function worldwide. He later served as marketing communications director for a spin-off division that sold UNIX-based, multi-purpose computer systems for law firms.
